Statement on a tragic loss in our community I am deeply saddened that two seniors in our community passed away in an assault at their home in Port Credit last night. Peel Regional Police responded quickly following reports of a disturbance, but, unfortunately, the couple lost their lives. Police have advised that there is no immediate threat to the public, but urge anyone with information regarding the incident or suspect- whose name and image have been circulated- to contact police as soon as possible. My team and I stand in solidarity with the community and loved ones of the victims. May their memory be a blessing.
